UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

The UMKC Institute for Human Development is offering an Interdisciplinary Certificate in Disability Studies. The Institute is Missouri 's only federally recognized Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and is closely aligned with local, state and federal programs that serve and support persons with disabilities. The Institute also works closely with UMKC academic units to make professional preparation more interdisciplinary in fields that serve and support persons with disabilities. This certificate is to be awarded upon completion of a concentration in Disability Studies as defined below.
