DIRECTORY OF DISABILITY STUDIES PROGRAMS

Late in 2002, the Interdisciplinary Training program of UMKC Institute for Human Development (IHD) did a survey of member institutions of the Association of University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (AUCD.)  The survey was intended to gather useful information from the existing Disability Studies programs that would be utilized to guide IHD in developing its own Disability Studies program.  This Directory of Disability Studies Programs in the US and Canada was the result of that survey.  We hope that it could be useful to others too.
